  1. What has happened to the 1 oz 2013 Australian Koala in presentation card? Surely you haven’t considered discontinuing it without some consultation with collectors as the Australian Mint did with the Silver Kangaroo some years ago?

    • Hi Lionel

This year’s carded release, which for the first time features a coloured Koala silver coin, is scheduled for release in April.

      Kind regards

  2. Thank you so much for entering into an exclusivity agreement with New York Mint in the United States as the sole distributor of this beautiful 5 oz high relief coin. As a special benefit to me and all of my fellow US citizens, we now have a choice of 3 different ways to get raked through the coals. We can pay $1150.00 for a Proof 70, $799.00 for a Proof 69 or $649.00 for a “Gem Proof”. I really can’t understand why you would go into an exclusivity agreement with a company that is known for charging usurious prices for their coins. They take all the stock, send it off for grading and then sell back to the public at the bargain prices listed above. Some of us just want the coin in the original packaging at a fair price. Is that too much to ask for? You have been doing more and more of these “exclusivity deals” recently and it is making it harder and harder for me to buy the coins you offer at reasonable prices. I now cannot buy this coin because it’s simply not worth it at these usurious prices. You have lost a faithful customer.

  3. I couldn’t agree more with Chris’ comments regarding New York Mint. I was looking at this coin too but I can’t spend 100’s more than its worth. These exclusivity agreements should be terminated. Very frustrating. I will look for it elsewhere but I’ll never buy it from NY mint at such an inflated price. Wake up Perth Mint!

  4. Couldn’t agree more with all the above. The coin is wayyy overpriced by these coin dealers. Even though the coin may appreciate over time, it will take too much time for me to break even given the price of silver. I’ll keep with my stock investments which are market priced.
