At 5pm my time I was on your web site to order the hades coin which i did order and had in my cart and processed order which after 44 min your site came back and told me that the item i had in my cart was no longer in stock how can that be after it was already placed in my cart and all my credit info was being processed for that coin. Your bad business and i will share your bullshit of conduct with everybody

      Very sorry to hear about the frustration you’ve experienced with our website. We are aware of these problems and are currently working on a complete web replacement project to overcome the difficulties associated with very popular low mintage coins. We can only hope that you stick with us until then,

      • I deserve thumbs down because I lucked out and got the coin just yesterday through Fedex but that wen page problem threw most people off guard. I practically stayed glued to my computer and lept refreshing until the coin posted and the moment it posted, I hit the order and submit. I waited 33 minutes and got a confirmation number and an email stating I got the coin! Even after having gotten the coin, I still got #1204 so there were less than 300 left. These sold out much faster than Zeus and Poseidon!! I will treasure the coin I got and it is a beautiful coin. Had to get Poseidon though through secondary markets by trading my extra Zeus but now I have a complete collection! I will collect the Goddesses of Olympus. Looking forward to that series.

         
  2. No one was surprised encountered “problems”. The sale of Poseidon was also accompanied by a “problem”, after which the coins were purchased by resellers.
    Shame of PM.

     
  3. I also got the bone.. Wasted a good hour of my time until finally reaching step 5 of the order process only to be put on a 55 minute waiting list. My friends that used paypal had there order confirmed with hardly any wait time, whats up with that? This is just another PM novelty coin I was going to flip for something truly numismatic anyway. I’m sure all your 3rd party dealers had no problem securing there orders, good customer service guys!

     
    • Thanks to coinfliplunaic for the info on payment via paypal. My friend had the similar BAD experience: many hours waiting for the website to show Hades and then 32 minutes estimated waiting time for processing the order of ONE lousy Hades and after 59 minutes of actual waiting time, no stock (this was payment via credit card). Next time should pay via paypal. This is the same problem again (similar to Poseidon purchase or lack of purchase via PM website), except this time it happened during PM working time. Really unacceptable performance for a commercial site. :(.
      Please fix this problem PM. After the Poseidon fiasco, you said the problem would be fixed. It is still not fixed. Please do not cry wolves too many times, or you will not be trusted if you did.
      Please fix the problem and stress-test your revised software before you put revised software online (this is what you pay your software people for).

       
      • Thank you for commenting. We understand your frustration and irritation. The Perth Mint is in the process of upgrading its systems to overcome the problems associated with high demand. But it’s a large, time-consuming project that will take time to implement. We really hope that this experience does not sour your opinion of the Mint long-term and assure you of our best efforts to provide a much improved experience going forward.
