  1. Hi Blog Team,

on http://www.perthmint.com.au/catalogue/mini-koala-2014-half-gram-gold-coin.aspx you have indicated that the Mini Gold Koala is unavailable. Is it sold out already?
Any news about the mintage figures update for 2014 bullion coins?

    Kind regards,
    Norbert

    • Hi Norbert

The 2014 Mini Koala’s mintage is open until July. Unfortunately we have no stock on hand and will not be making any more unless a reasonable wholesale order is received within this time frame.

Sorry to report that the latest sales and mintage figures have not yet been posted. The expected sign-off was delayed last week because of other important business at the Mint, but we’re hopeful that this will now occur very soon.

      Thank you for your patience,

      Kind regards

      • Hi Blog Team,

do you have a more precious idea now when it is possible to get that signature and the presentation of the long expected mintage figures of 2014?

        Kind regards,
        Norbert

        • Hi Norbert

          • Hi,

            Thanks for your assistance!
About how long will it take to publish the numismatic figures. Last years it was about three weeks later.

            Kind regards,
            Norbert

          • Hi Norbert

We are working towards the same timetable but given we may experience similar hurdles (executives away on business etc), please bear with us.

            Kind regards

          • Hi Blog Team,

please allow me to ask you a question about the 1oz 2014 Silver Koala with Chinese Privy again after mintage has been published.
Is it possibleto get the quantity of cons which haven been taken by China Gold Corp. or how big the amount of coins for the stock on hand left for free sale was?

            Kind regards,
            Norbert

          • Hi Norbert

We can inform you that the vast majority of these coins went to China with a very small number taken up by a dealer for sale in Australia.

            Kind regards

          • Hi Blog Team,

I do understand that you are not allowed to publish details about the deals of your business partners.
I know that dealer who has sold these coins and I observed a long time the offered quantities offers at his shop.
After summing up I came to the conclusion that the offered numbers of coins were higher than those of the 2013 Chinese Koalas. 😉
            Any comments?

            Kind regards,
            Norbert

          • Hi Norbert

We were given some figures in error yesterday. To clarify for you:

In 2013 the majority of these coins went to China with a small number made available in Australia.

In 2014 the majority of the coins actually went to our Australian wholesale client.

            Apologies for the confusion caused,

            Kind regards

          • Hi Blog Team,

Is it now forseeable that the numismatic mintage figures will be published before Easter?

And a question about Lunar 2 Silver Bullion 1 kg coins.
In your Bullion Mintag filings 2015 :
            http://www.perthmint.com.au//documents/1The_Australian_Lunar_Silver_Bullion_Series_Two_2008_-_2015.pdf
all 1kg coins are listed as Sales to Date.
I thought that all coins are affected from you change of mintage policy in 2012 and that there is no reminting after closing of mintage.

            Kind regards,
            Norbert

          • Hi Norbert

The department responsible for preparing the figures is advising that the numismatic sales and mintage updates will be posted after Easter.

Regarding kilo Lunar coins, we state:

No mintage limit applies to 1 kilo, 10oz, 5oz, 2oz and 1/2oz coins. Except for the 1 kilo release, production of these coins will close at the end of 2015 and The Perth Mint will declare each coin’s mintage. Production of 1 kilo coins will cease at the end of the series.

            Kind regards

  2. Hi Blog Team,

If there is anything I can do to remove hurdles than let me know please.

  3. Hi,

I have checked the compiled informations about the Silver Bullion Privy Coin 2011-2015 and found a big mistake or rather a lack of details.
Comparing the 2014 compilation with the 2015 compilation I hav e found that the declared mintage figures of 2011 and 2012 Koala with Privy mark and Kookaburra 2012 with Privy Mark Dragon is missing!

    2015:

    Please see yourself.
