One of Australia’s most beautiful creatures, the mahogany glider is an extremely rare species of gliding possum found exclusively in a small area within Queensland’s wet tropics. By stretching the folds of skin between its front and rear legs, it can glide from tree to tree for 30 metres or more at a time.
