Fossilized bones from a Diamantinasaurus, a large titanosaurian sauropod, were discovered a few years ago at an ancient billabong near Winton in Queensland. Between 15 and 16 metres in length, and 15 to 20 tonnes in weight, the remarkable creature lived about 94 million years ago.
